MEET CHERYL BEATTIE
FOUNDER/CEO
Cheryl Beattie’s musical journey took her from New York and London, collaborating with industry legends, to the Mornington Peninsula. With a #1 dance hit and a decade of experience, she’s now focused on inspiring budding musicians at The Music Industry, helping them perform, build confidence, and record their own songs.
MEET TILLY WHALEN
PIANO/VOCALS
Tilly’s passion for both music performance and songwriting shines through her teaching at MI. A first-year student at The University of Melbourne, she has 12 years of piano experience and earned Triple J airplay for her original song “Nothing Is The Same As It Always Was,” released under ‘Tillee. Tilly is excited to share her knowlege with her students.
MEET MARIE PARKINSON
PIANO
Marie has been playing the piano since she was five years old in the UK, dedicating 53 years to performing for ballet classes and teaching privately. Accredited with both the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and AMEB, Marie is passionate about teaching and sharing the joy of music.
MEET Adam Bruechert
Drums
Adam has been immersed in music since the age of six, mastering styles from funk, jazz to rock and heavy metal. A passionate drum teacher, Adam focuses on technique, music reading, and helping students play their favourite songs. A love for performance, he also teaches the fundamentals of groove and rhythm for playing in bands.
MEET ELIZA WALKER
VOCALS
Eliza is pursuing music at the Conservatorium of Music, Melbourne University, for a bachelor’s in classical voice. Actively involved in the Youth Opera scene, Eliza has completed a Certificate III in Music Performance and a Diploma in Music Theatre. She has performed in productions like Pippin, Mary Poppins, and Cinderella, and on stage three times at South Metro Showtime.
MEET MADISON BAILEY
VOCALS
Madison, 20, has been singing professionally for 14 years and is currently pursuing her diploma in musical theatre at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance. Her passion for musical theatre drives her, but she’s versatile and open to singing any genre. Dedication to her craft has deepened her knowledge of both singing and acting, making her ready to share her talent with others.
MEET EMMA HANSON
PIANO
Emma has been playing piano since the age of seven, with a passion for classical music and exploring blues, jazz, contemporary, and festive pieces. Holding an AMEB qualification, she has performed at the ART Red Hill art show, school information nights, and charity recitals. Emma loves to teach piano for aspiring musicians or those seeking to enjoy the art of piano playing.

Peter Cordeux is a cherished member of The Music Industry in Rosebud, where he has made a profound impact as a singer, singing teacher, and mentor. Known for his incredible talent and deep industry knowledge, Peter’s compassion and dedication have made him an integral part of our school.
MEET ROGER ANDERSON
GUITAR
Roger is a seasoned music educator with a track record of nurturing talent at institutions like St. Michael’s Grammar and Rosebud Secondary College. Passionate about teaching acoustic and electric guitar, Roger excels at guiding students from their first chords to advanced proficiency, helping them thrive both individually and in band settings.
MEET Emmie Li Moylan
VOCALS
Emmie Li an Australian-Taiwanese pop singer/songwriter. Emmie began singing at 6 and songwriting at 13. Influenced by artists like Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande, she performs locally and attends songwriting camps with ‘The Music Industry.’ Her debut single, “Lights On,” was a collaboration with DJ Ram and Mason Young.
MEET EDEN BLACKMORE
GUITAR
Eden Blackmore has 7 years of professional gigging and private teaching experience. He covers a wide range of genres from 50s to the 00s, including classic rock, pop, funk, disco, metal, and grunge. Eden shares his passion for guitar and bass with students to help them explore their musical interests.
